Nomura Buys 10% Stake In BMCE
The Japanese investment bank Nomura has bought a 10% stake in BanqueMarocaine du Commerce Exterieur (BMCE) previously held by state-owned Caisse Marocaine deDepot et de Gestion (CDG). The purchase agreement, worth $100mn, has not been officiallysigned but is, MEES understands, final. Nomura's principal interest in BMCE"is to work together on the investment banking side."
