European Consortium Signs E&P Agreement For Two Murzuk Blocks
Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) awarded on 1 November an Exploration andProduction Sharing Agreement (EPSA III) for Blocks A and B in the Murzuk Basin (see mapbelow) to a European consortium led by Spain's Repsol (operator, 32%), and includingFrance's Total and Austria's OMV (24% each), as well as Norway's Saga (20%).
