Iraq Raises Domestic Fuel Prices
Iraq has raised the retail prices of fuels on the local market, namely gasoline, LPG and kerosene, and doubled fees for building licenses. The new measures are designed to withdraw excess currency in circulation and boost the value of the dinar, whose exchange rate was liberalized earlier this year.
