Aid To Lebanon
The French Government is to provide Lebanon with FF500mn - consisting of about $90mn in loans and about $10mn in grants - to help repair public utilities, under a protocol signed on 5 April during the state visit of French President Jacques Chirac to Lebanon. The two countries are also discussing economic agreements on investment promotion and dual taxation between them.
