Algeria Reschedules $1Bn In Debt To US
Algeria and the US signed on 15 December a rescheduling agreement coveringsome $1bn worth of debt. The bilateral agreement was signed in Algiers by theGovernor of the Central Bank of Algeria, Mr. Abd al-Wahab Keramane, and USAmbassador Ronald Neumann, and follows a rescheduling agreement signed with theParis Club in June.
