India to Buy Algerian Crude
India is to purchase 500,000 tons of Algerian crude oil as part of an effort to redress the trade imbalance between the two countries. The agreement was announced by Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on 10 June in the course of a 24-hour visit to Algiers.
