Kuwait Sells Weathered Crude
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has sold so far 6.5mn barrels, or 38%of the weathered crude that has been recovered from the oil pools left inKuwaiti oilfields following the destruction of oil wells by the withdrawingIraqi forces. KPC has been selling two shipments per month of weathered crudeand has secured sales contracts up to June of this year for some 70% of theestimated total spill, amounting to about 17mn barrels....
