Melrose Discovers Gas With South Damas Well
Edinburgh-based Melrose Resources has found gas with the South Damas-1 well drilled on the South East Mansoura concession in Egypt, which it owns outright. The company announced on 5 February that its preliminary estimate of reserves for the find was 30 bcf of gas.
