JAOCSpuds First Well In Yanan Tava

The Japan Azerbaijan Operating Company (JAOC) spudded itsfirst exploration well in the Ateshgyakh structure on 5 October using theGurtulush rig. The well, YTX-1, is located about 120km southeast of Baku in theoffshore Yanan Tava production-sharing agreement (PSA) area.
