Oman Invites Bids For RFCC Unit At Sohar

The Oman Refinery Company (ORC) has invited eight companies to submit bids by March for the construction of a 75,000 b/d residue fluidized catalytic cracker (RFCC) in Sohar in the north of the country. The unit will be used to upgrade some 45,000 b/d of residual fuel being produced at the 80,000 b/d Mina al-Fahal refinery.
