EC Signs ECU400mn Loan with Algeria, First Drawdown soon
The EC and Algeria signed a ECU400mn ($516mn) seven-year loan on 5 December.The Algerian Treasury Minister, Mr. Ali Benouari, said at the signing that hehoped the first tranche of ECU250mn ($323mn) would be drawn down by the end ofthe month.
