NCC Signs for Three Chemical Carriers

National Chemical Carriers (NCC) - a joint venture owned 80% by SaudiArabia's National Shipping Company (NSC) and 20% by the Saudi Basic IndustriesCorporation (SABIC) - and Norway's Kvaerner on 21 January signed a SR845mn($225mn) contract for the construction of three 37,000-dwt chemical carriers forNCC at Kvaerner's shipyards in Norway and Scotland.
