NSC Considers Purchase of Seven Tankers
Saudi Arabia's National Shipping Company (NSC) is currently considering plansto buy seven tankers - five 280,000 dwt crude carriers and two product carriers- at a total cost of SR3bn ($800mn), according to the company's Chairman Dr.Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Tawil. The final decision is not expected untilthe first quarter of 1992.
