TexacoMakes Oil Discovery in Tunisia
The US firm Texaco announced on 17 August that it discovered crude oil in the El Jem permit in Tunisia. The El Jem-1 well testedat a rate of 3,600 b/d of crude oil and 3.7mn cu. ft./day of gas on a 7/16 inchchoke.
