Jordanian Banks Recouped Deposits after 10% Drop in August/September
Figures released by the Central Bank of Jordan show that private sectordeposits returned to the country's commercial banks in October and November1990, after falling by about 10% in the weeks after the Iraqi invasion of Kuwaiton 2 August 1990. Deposits are expected to have held steady between November andmid-January, when a further outflow took place....
