Jordan Resumes Crude Oil Imports from Iraq
Jordan has resumed its crude oil imports from Iraq at a rate of some 22,000b/d, or about one third of its pre-war imports of 60,000 b/d, according to astatement by a Jordanian official in 'Amman on 23 April. Seventy five Jordaniantanker trucks (compared to 200 before the war) have resumed hauling crude fromal-Qaim oilfields in west Iraq to the 60,000 b/d Zarqa refinery on a daily basis.
