IMF Approves Standby Credit for Algeria
The IMF has approved a $405mn standby credit facility for Algeria to assistthe country in carrying out its program of economic reforms. The facility wasagreed at the beginning of June and is designed to support the government'sreform program until the end of March 1992. The fund has also allocated afurther $285mn of contingency funds in case economic conditions in Algeria...
