UAE To Build Power Plant In Dominican Republic
The UAE will invest $800mn in a gas-fired power generation plant in the Dominican Republic. The 600mw plant will be built by MAN-Ferrostaal, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabis International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC). The announcement was made on 6 October during a visit to Santo Domingo by UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh 'Abd Allah bin Zayed al-Nahayan, who met with President Leonel Fernandez....
