UAE Economic Statistics
The UAE Ministry of Planning has issued a comprehensive report on the UAE economy to mark the 24th anniversary of the establishment of the federation. The following tables from the report on gross domestic product (GDP), which rose at the rate of 14.8% annually, foreign trade, public expenditure and power generation show the growth in the UAE between 1972 and 1994:
