Iraq Loads Three Oil Tankers at Northern Gulf
The Iraqi oil authorities have loaded three state-owned tankers in thenorthern Gulf, according to press reports based on US intelligence sources. TheLondon daily The Guardian reported on 8 September that three tankers (the158,000 dwt Hittin, the 155,211 dwt al-Qadisyah, and the 35,000 dwt Rumaila)were monitored by US reconnaissance satellite photographs as being loaded offthe Iraqi coast in the northern Gulf....
