Elf's Atochem and Italy's Enimont Acquire Stake in QAPCO
Under the terms of an agreement signed in Paris on 27 August, Elf-Aquitaine'swholly-owned petrochemicals subsidiary Atochem and Italy's Enimont (the jointventure between the state-owned ENI and Montedison) have each acquired a 10%interest in the capital of the Qatar Petrochemicals Company (QAPCO) in Umm Said.The remaining 80% is held by the state-owned Qatar General Petroleum Corporation(QGPC)....
