Oman's Oil Reserves: a Correction:
In the interview with Oman's Minister of Oil, Mr. Sa'id bin Ahmed al-Shanfari,in MEES of 13 March 1989, it was stated that Oman had reserves of oil in placeof 40bn barrels of lighter crudes plus a further 60bn barrels of extra heavycrudes. This should be corrected to read : "the total light and heavy oilin place in the Sultanate of Oman is about 60bn barrels."
