Saudi Arabia and Britain Agree on Tornado Deal Offset Program
Under a memorandum of understanding signed in Riyadh on 21 October, SaudiArabia and Britain have agreed to set up a number of high-technology jointventures worth about 600mn-600mn which fall under the framework of the offset program arising from the 5bn ($8.25bn) Saudi-UK deal to supply the Saudi airforce with an aircraft package including 72 Tornado fighter-bombers (MEES,24 February 1986)....
