OPEC/NON-OPEC NEGOTIATIONS MUST MAINTAIN MOMENTUM SAYS OMANI OIL MINISTER
Despite the failure of OPEC thus far to come up with a concrete response tothe recent offer by six non-OPEC oil exporting countries for reciprocalproduction cutbacks, Oman - one of the leading sponsors of the non-OPECinitiative - is still optimistic about the chances of an eventual agreement onproduction between the two groupings and is anxious to keep up the momentum ofthe dialogue.
