Oil Minister Denies Any Omani commitment to Reduce Production
The Omani Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Mr. Sa'id ibn Ahead al-Shanfari, has strongly denied that Oman has made any commitment to reduce its crude oil production to help stabilize world oil prices. In an interview with the Oman Daily Observer on 24 March, the Minister said that reports that Oman had agreed to lower its oil output are "completely unfounded and I deny them strongly."...
