Oil Minister Gives go-Ahead for Ethylene Plant
Egyptian Oil Minister Abd El-Hady Kandil, has given the go-ahead for theconstruction of the projected ethylene plant at Egypt's petrochemical complex atal-'Amiriya near Alexandria.
The plant - which will be a joint venture between the ENI subsidiary Enichemand the state owned Egyptian Petrochemical Company - was the subject of arecent feasibility study by Enichem (MEES, 24 August 1987).
