Shididi Appointed Oil Ministry Undersecretary

Mr. Muhammad Ridha Hasan Shididi, head of INOC's Reservoir and FieldsDevelopment Department since 1977, was appointed last week as Undersecretary ofthe Ministry of Oil. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanicalengineering from Durham University and has held various posts in the Iraqi oilestablishment since his graduation in 1960. He also served in OPEC's TechnicalDepartment between 1970 and 1972.
