King Fahd Says $18/B "First Stage"
King Fahd ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz of Saudi Arabia has again emphasized hiscountry's determination to raise the price of oil to $18tB and has describedthis objective as "a first stage." The Saudi ruler's comments in thisregard, made during a Cabinet meeting on 10 November, were subsequentlydisclosed by Information Minister 'Ali al-Sha'ir in the following terms:
