Car Kits Deal at a Standstill
Peugeot Talbot of the UK is suspending work on its contract to supply carkits to Iran Khodro for assembly in Iran and will lay off the workers involvedin production of the kits indefinitely from the end of this month. According toreports from the UK, Iran's failure to pay for the kits means that none havebeen shipped to Iran since January, when 7,800 were sent.
