Barter Deal for Car Kits
Iran and Talbot Motor Company of the UK have completed negotiations on a $157mn barter deal which will permit the resumption of deliveries of car kits to Iran. Under the deal Talbot will supply the car kits to Iran Khodro, the assembler in Tehran, while Krupp Oil of West Germany will lift crude (at official prices) from the National Iranian Oil Company.
