Italy to Provide Egypt with $243mn in 1987-89
Italy has agreed to provide Egypt with $243mn in grants and loans in 1987-89during talks at Foreign Minister level in Rome on 25 November. Some $93mn willbe as grant in aid and the remainder in loans, of which half are designated asexport credits. The funds are allocated for use in agriculture andsmall-to-medium sized industries.
