IBRD Lends Morocco and Oman $139mn
The World Bank has agreed to lend Morocco $125mn to improve, expand and modernize the country's telecommunications network, according to a statement issued on 24 April. The Bank said the project, costing a total of $647.5mn, is designed to satisfy 80t of the demand for telephone services and all the demand for telex services by 1994.
