Correction
A typographic error in the table on page B3 of MEES Vol. 30, No. 28 on 20 April shows the 1986 shareholders' equity of the Commercial Bank of Kuwait incorrectly as KD124.48mn instead of KD129.48mmn. Return on shareholders' equity and shareholders' equity/assets ratios are correctly stated as 2.48% and 8.16% respectively. Commercial Bank of Kuwait did not therefore reduce its shareholders' equity in 1986, as reported...
