SAUDI ARABIA COMPLAINS ABOUT OPEC OVERPRODUCTION
MEES understands that Saudi Arabia has sent an official telex to OPEC complaining about reported overquota production by some OPEC member countries. The telex, sent by the Saudi Oil Minister, Mr. Hisham Nazer, on 29 July, was addressed to the current President of the OPEC conference, Mr. Rilwanu Lukman of Nigeria, who was asked to take the necessary measures in respect of the reported overproduction.
