Details of 1986 Algerian Budget
Further details of Algeria's 1986 budget (the broad outlines of which appeared in MEES, 23/30 December 1985) have now become available.
As far as revenues are concerned, oil revenues are the largest single contributor at 48bn dinars ($10bn), or some 39% of the total. Other major revenue sources are corporation taxes ($4.5bn), direct taxes ($2.9bn), customs ($2.3bn), and indirect taxes ($2.2bn).
