Iranian Product Tanker Attacked; US Cargo Vessel Inspected
Iraq has continued its aerial attacks against Iranian oil targets, hitting the 25,244 dwt product tanker Minab on 27 April and setting it ablaze while it was some 40 miles south of Bushehr (latitude 28.23 north, longitude 51.05 east). The vessel, owned by the National Iranian Tanker company, was fully loaded at the time. Iraq also claimed to have attacked Kharg Island on the same day as well as the Iranian oilfields...
