Brazil Increases Liftings from Iraq to 200,000 b/d
Brazil's state-owned Petrobras has increased its Siftings of Iraqi crude oil from an average of 160,000 b/d during the first-quarter of 1985 to a current 200,000 b/d, according to Mr. Carlos Sant' Anna, Petrobras Commercial Director in a statement on 8 August. Last year Brazil imported an average of 140,000 b/d from Iraq at a cost of around $1.3bn.
