ARIG Profit Edges Up
The net profit of the Bahrain-based Arab Insurance Group (Arig) was $13.7mn in 1983, compared with $13.2mn in 1982, it was revealed last week. ARIG cited the continued world economic recession and reduced demand for oil as the main factors preventing a faster increase in its net profits.
