KPC Starts Sale of Leadless Petrol in Five European Countries
Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), the London-based marketing subsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced on 28 December that it had started the sale of lead-free petrol to motorists in five European countries - Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg - through 30 service stations out of a total of 1,500 European stations it had purchased in 1983 from Gulf Oil.
