Kuwaits Credit Growth Remains Low In March, According To NBK
Credit growth in Kuwait remained sluggish in March despite a pick-up in the real estate sector in the previous two months, reports the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) in its latest Economic Brief published on 28 April. Earlier this month the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) cut its discount rate by 25 bps to 3.5%, the lowest level since mid-2004, in order to stimulate credit growth....
