Saudi Arabia and the US Provide Petroleum Products to Sudan
Both Saudi Arabia and the US have agreed to grant Sudan petroleum products to meet the acute fuel shortage in the country, according to press reports from Khartoum. Saudi Arabia will provide 2.2mn barrels, worth around $61mn, over the next three months, while the US has agreed to grant $40mn allocated for the import of petroleum products.
