Soviets Propose 50 Cent/B Price Rise for Urals
According to reports, the Soviet Union has proposed a new price of $26.00/B c.i.f. for its exports of Urals crude effective 15 August, an increase of 50 cents/B from the 1 July price of $25.50/B (MEES, 8 July). The latest spot assessments put the spot price of Urals in the $26.10-$26.15/B range.
