Urals up 25 Cents/B for September
Reflecting the general firming of spot prices over the last two weeks, the Soviet Union has proposed a 25 cent/B increase in the export price of its Urals crude to $26.25/B cif as of 1 September. This follows a 50 cent/B increase in the Urals price in mid-August from the July price of $25.50/B (MEES, 12 August). The proposed September price is more or less in line with current spot market quotations for Urals.
