IFAD Lends $7.1mn to Tunisia and Djibouti
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has agreed to lend $6mn to Tunisia to help finance a rural development scheme in the Sidi Bouzid region. The World Food Program is providing $600,000 in food aid for the project, the Tunisian government $6.4mn and the beneficiaries $300,000. IFAD is also lending Djibouti $1.1mn to co-finance a fishery production program.
