Eni Digs Deep For Egyptian Production Boost
Italy’s Eni is looking to raise production from its Melehia Concession in Egypt’s Western Desert by 10,000 b/d within the next few months following the drilling of a successful appraisal well that targeted the block’s Lower Cretaceous formation.
The Emry Deep-1X well was drilled to a depth of over 3,600ms and hit 250ft of net pay, testing at 3,500 b/d of 41°API crude and 1mn cfd of associated gas....
