Gulf Tension Spurs Oil Defenses, UAE Struggles With Hormuz Pipeline
With Iranian-Israeli tensions rising and other conflicts menacing the region, GCC states are reinforcing their oil and gas installation defenses. In the event of shipping disruption, reliance on Abu Dhabi’s Hormuz Strait bypass pipeline could be misplaced because at present engineering issues prevent oil flowing at full capacity.
