Iran Begins Gas Exports To Georgia To Help Cover Russian Supply Outage
Iran began exporting gas via Azerbaijan to Georgia on 29 January, to help make up a shortage after explosions the previous week shut down pipelines carrying Russian gas to both Georgia and Armenia. The National Iranian Gas Export Company (NIGEC) signed an agreement with Georgia for the delivery of 30mn cu ms (1.06 bcf) of gas over a 30-day period. The IRNA news...
