Majlis To Debate Gasoline Subsidies
The Iranian government on 4 October submitted a draft bill to the Majlis (parliament) which proposed the introduction of smart cards for car owners, which would allow the purchase of a fixed amount of gasoline at a subsidized price and any additional volume at a full market price.
