Syria Raises Gasoline And Fuel Oil Prices
The Syrian government has raised the price of premium gasoline by 10% to S44 ($0.95)/liter from the previous S40 ($0.86)/liter, but at the same time has abolished the annual license fees on gasoline fuelled vehicles (cars and motor bikes) with engines with a capacity of up to 3,000cc, in order to offset the effect of the gasoline price increase.
