Jordan Receives US Aid, Loan From World Bank
The US Government said on 26 January that it has already signed over $145.5mn to Jordan in economic assistance aid out of a total of $250mn that will be granted to the country this year. The US said it released the funds earlier than expected to underscore its commitment to Jordan. Of the total, $129.5mn is earmarked for reducing the countrys international debt burden and the rest will help to bolster USAID programs...
